Update on Toes...
So far, Cricket shows no signs of side effects for treatment #1 other than maybe a slight restlessness, and her feeling a bit warmer to the touch. Possibly unrelated to treatment and related to a condition she had when she was younger, she has been unconsciously dribbling a bit of pee. So she needs to be watched and let out regularly.
But of course on the treatment, her pee, poop and vomit are toxic and have to be handled carefully. I have to handle her chemo drugs with rubber gloves on too. Eeesh!
Today will be an off day for her chemo, and she'll get prednisone and an antacid.
She's also being lavished with attention a few extra treats.
