Camel Humping...
Sometime Thursday morning I'm getting in the wee copper beastie with
sassy_fae and we are going to drive to fearsclave 's place in E. Ontario (right across the border from Montreal, Quebec). We're going to arrive in the afternoon, have dinner, snorgle a kitten (OMG SQUEE!), pet cats, fluff a dog and then get on our merry way to Montreal where we're going to staying the night at mouseme 's place.
The next morning whenever they can manage to either pry me off the ceiling or rouse my comatose self (either is possible), we'll be heading to Vermont. Once in Vermont we're going to arrive at
kilted_omalley 's and
raven_albion 's place for some food and hugs and such, then I'm going to go fishing with mouseme, fearsclave and bodhifox. It's been literally over a decade I think since I went fishing last. Something I dearly loved doing, but just...stopped when I got divorced from my ex outdoorsy husband.
Sometime on Saturday, I am going to be (attempting) to climb/walk/amble/shuffle/limp up the Camel's Hump in Camel's Hump park! Wish me luck! And then, I'll have to come back down. I will be taking a camera, and I WILL post photos. I've been really bad lately about posting photos of events and things I've done. I have been taking pictures, but that's as far as my enthusiasm takes me.
I really really need this trip. My trip to Camp! last week was not half long enough. Things are more settled now, so I'm hoping to get more benefit out of this sojourn. And among friends that I feel safe with, I may even get a tipsy on. I think I need that too.
