Sometimes I forget that I consider that HP shippers relatively sane ...

So I got nostalgic and wandered over to YouTube and in my remembering my love for previous fandoms got around to thinking about the overall agreement that HP fandom, especially in terms of shipping, reaches levels of crazy that were reaches levels of crazy that have never been seen before. While certainly the craziest at the moment. I'm sorry HP fandom, you don't quite win. I got around to remembering how five minutes of show generated more crazy than HBP. Although, not a universal release and therefore not all at once, but still so much with the crazy.

There's no topping the among other things OMG!censored kiss that never existed. At least shipping in HP did not come out of thin air and was foreshadowed by well placed semicolons and adorable banter and you could see it coming unless you got sidetracked by over-analyzing the meaning of platonic, toast, and Hermione's willingness to let Ron leap to his death.

As a couple of side notes: I do believe that HP fandom would get far, far more riled up about the deletion of naked boys. I was also one of the ones upset by the five minutes - though for more than just shipping. The career choices were kind of crazy as well. I might have been able to deal with the astronaut, but the noodle cart vendor was a bit crazy.
