(no subject)
Well, it's here...Sunday night...In about thirty minutes I'm going to be leaving to do my first ever open mic night at a stand up comedy club here in town.
I'm really nervous! I'll be getting it on video, so for the sake of permanence I hope it's good.
I've decided that if I can make just one person laugh, I'll be happy! One person whose laugh I don't recognize, I'll be happy. I'm going to try to have fun. I'll try to let my perfectionist nature ("If I can't do it perfectly, I'm just not going to try and I'm not going to enjoy myself" mentality) leave my body...hopefully that's all that will leave my body and I don't just vomit all over the place...
My dad said that both he and my mom are extremely proud of me for even just doing something like this.
