(no subject)
I'm not making a Facebook announcement or anything until Monday the 19th or sometime around then, so it's still kind of under wraps, but...I figure I never ever update this and I don't think anyone even reads it, so why not?
As of Tuesday the 20th, I will be two months pregnant!
Yep! It still blows my mind. We have our first ultrasound on Monday the 19th (which is why I am waiting to Facebook blast it - so, please don't go congratulating me on my wall over there or anything if you're reading this now)
I'm currently in the thick of morning sickness, and am praying every day that it goes away soon so that I can eat and drink more water for the little womb-bat.
I guess I'm glad it's happening, because that means I know everything is going how it's supposed to and that I have enough hormones pumping through me...but man, it's rough. Being sick all day every day is the worst. I know it's totally worth it in the end, but it still sucks. The babies...they trick you. You feel fine for the first month, and then you start thinking "Oh! Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't get sick!!" Then it hits you...hard...unless you really are one of the lucky few that don't get it.
So, that's what's going on with us. Apparently, at 7 weeks (which is where I'll be at tomorrow), I can get a blood test to determine the sex of the baby. So, if insurance covers that, we're going to do that soon and then totally confirm that speculation at the 18-20 week sonogram before buying things.
Anyway, if interest in this baby and such is to be had, I started a blog for it here. It's password protected right now, but I'll probably open it up next week.
