Today, I dropped James off for work & studying and then went home and got everything ready for a picnic!
James and I took Robot to the park where we got engaged so we could (James and I) have fake bologna sandwiches and to feed the ducks a loaf of bread that we didn't want.
It was faaaaantastic! videos and photos coming soooon!
As far as 2011 goes, here are some freakin' goals:
- Avoid cancer...by eating better
- Run more! As in 3 or 4 times a week! I want to eventually get to being able to run 10 miles by the end of the year! Preferably 10 miles in an hour and 40 minutes (so about a 10 minute mile...which is what I'm at right now, so just making that continue for longer)
- Swim more! Not for fun in the summer, but for toning and health! ...and I guess for fun, too or whatevs.
- Get into at least one residency
- Get into at least three shows this year
- Finalize grad school options and research
- Start and finish more of my work! I'd like to focus on at least three projects.
- Book 10 to 12 weddings this year and like 6 to 8 portrait/family sessions!
- Find ways to enjoy living in Houston
- Get more sleep!
- Read more books!
- Drink more water and tea!
- Work on stand up and do more of it
- Be a good wife
- Cook more at home!
- Only eat out once a week, so the cooking more at home will be easier!
- Love life more and more

In order to be healthy, you must eat right, move right, and talk to yourself right.
I think it's great that I saw this right now...because man have I been struggling with that shit again.
I put it on the fridge.
