Changes to My Journals
I rarely just post on this journal anymore, but, when the occasion demands it, I do. Today is just such an occasion.
I decided to make a few much needed changes. Starting off, I changed the theme here on LJ from the dark blue Starry Night theme to this calmer and much lighter Blue Reading theme. This seems to fit my needs much better and the font color can be seen much more easily. I never realized just how hard it was to read my entries here unless you were using your own themes or selecting the content to read it.
For having to suffer through all that, I apologize.
This isn't the only blog I've made changes on. Over on Wordpress, I added in a brand new header designed by me and changed the colors around from purple to blue. I want to add in a header image here, too, but I cannot find a way to do that. That requires either a certain theme or it isn't allowed, I can't make that sort of change. But, I can show off the image itself.
All of my story locations are represented in this simple image. Yes, I know it's blurry, but that's because I wanted a dreamlike quality instead of something sharp contrast. This was done using my mouse instead of the tablet and yes, my hand was sore for a while afterward.
Eventually, I'll be changing the name of this blog to match the others I have to keep some kind of consistency between them. You all know I'm lazy and procrastinate like crazy, but do keep your eyes open for the change. So, don't be surprised when Cats_Haven becomes Candace Gauger. My name is my brand instead of my pseudonym.
