Central Canada Comic Con (C4) Oct. 28-30th IMG HEAVY
Now a more recent post of shenanigans.
Our Friday costumes, we actually got Kayla (imalime) to dress up for this one, She's our very lovely Stephanie Brown Robin here. Chery is Harly and Chan and I wore our Assassin's again.
There was a rock climbing wall there, so what do we do? Climb in cosplay of course! Heard a couple yells of "Assassin's on the wall!" and "Leap of Faith!!" while we were up there.
Saturday ushered in our Robin group! We had nearly everyone but a Jason.
Bridget was Carrie Kelly, Kayla was Stephanie Brown, Chan was Damian Wayne, I was Dick Grayson and Chery was Tim Drake.
I couldn't sadly find a photo of all of us with our Batman, Joker and Cass. So have this photo I found with a different Batman and a plauge doctor.
There were many more adventures, like climbing on the wall...again! Me afraid of flashing my ass in panties to everyone? Pffffft naww.
Chery got mistake for a Kick-ass character a couple times due to cosplaying a really really new (As in one issue was out) reboot design of Red Robin.
So we thought it was only fair to take a picture with another kick-ass dude haha.

There were also these adorable kids, There wasn't too many little little kids dressed up but I definitely thought these guys were the cutests. Especially since they tried to act the part most of the time haha.
So we entered in the costume contest and I have to say it was the worst run one I've seen yet, We had to wait 3+ hours upon them gathering us and numbering (and we got there late!!). Of course we were told we couldn't run off at all for any reason other then to use the washroom so we stood in a line for about an hour, then got moved to this sitting area for another 2 hours theeeeen got lined up outside of the main room for another 15-30 minutes. I felt really bad for some of the staff, they didn't even know what was going on and they had to deal with people asking them "what's happening" and "when does it start?!" every 10 minutes. It was just terrible and a couple people bailed because it was just too ridiculous to wait that long when promised an hour wait tops (especially ones with really crazy painful looking outfits). It was also really annoying they gave us no where to put our bags/stuff. We had to rely on a staff member we knew by the stage door to watch our stuff since the con didn't offer any sort of bag check.
We atleast made light of it and did a bunch of silly stuff to keep ourselves entertained, we can't go on stage as Robin's looking angry (Unless you're Damian) haha.
This is (sadly) the best photo I found of us on stage, They made the contest in a tiny dinky room that seats 100 ish at a convention that gets about 15-20k of people :|
Sunday was the day full of the most silly-ness since we got the nice posing out of our systems and cared less at this point about getting our costumes dirty or anything haha.
