Numb in a good way. Such a lovely chapter, John's slow progress is painful although now I'm a bit worried for chapter nine. (Part Two of A to B is up)

2 posts while i was away! But oh my... This fic is going to kill me. I love reading hurt comfort and now you are getting to it. So exciting! Can't wait for another email telling me i have more brutally wonderful writing to read. (I stole that from someone who commented. It is a good description.)

I'm conflicted when I read this. Part of me wants to ingest it quickly as I'm dying to find out what's going to happen and another part of me wants to partake of it slowly because I know the chapter will come to an end all too quickly. This story is so marvelously consuming I end up giving into both parts by reading through it twice.

BTW: You do a great job with each character but the way you voice Mycroft here is especially well done.
