I wasn't sure if John had been maimed last chapter but just one correction needed; John has only three fingers now, the thumb is not classed as a finger.

Now the praise, poor poor John, I loved how you wrote Lestrade needing to talk and Sherlock's reaction to the state of John. Evil Moriaty still chilling. Wonder if Harry will blame Sherlock for allowing John to get into danger. More wonderful descriptions of scenery too.

But how stupid would it sound if I had to say "Three fingers and the thumb" all the time... I think most poeple will understand when I say four fingers. Well, you also say "Give me five" and not "Give me four AND you thumb" ;) I guess it will do. But thanks anyways, I will consider it.

I'm afraid I won't write anything about Harry, it isn't planned. I'd like to set focus on another aspect. I hope you will understand ;) But Mycroft will return! Yea!

I think this story is going to be a hard read, but a satisfying one.

I'm a bit of a sucker for hurt John / caring Sherlock.

This is absolutely amazing, I found it a little while ago and haven't been able to stop reading! I really hope you update soon, this is fast becoming one of my favourite Sherlock dark!fics!
