Let me see. From what I got from Nicky, she read his mind. He asked her to stop. She said she'd use "her discretion" and was abusive at me again. She also stated that she was protecting her "best interests" by snooping in our minds. I remained calm, went to see Fangy - couldn't find her - and left a cat to watch things.

*spinning kick*

Then she told Nicky she always felt it when her name was spoken or thought. He asked if she also felt it when he thought of her in different terms, and she threatened him if he was "plotting against her". Dai came in, and some abuse later, she demanifested.

*turns a cartwheel*

Unfortunately, she's being incredibly stupid while in possession of Vala powers. I find myself wishing she had taken more after Fangy in that regard.

Exactly - even my parting with Melkie was mostly amicable, just a difference of opinion.

I get that she was doing it when she was a kid, but she hasn't changed a bit.

As far as powers go, the strength is completely dependent on parentage for these children. She can't 'take after' one parent more than the other. It's set in stone. Her father was a powerful Vala, her mother, a weaker Maia. She will never be as powerful as a full Vala.

Angband, I could take out Fangy one-handed if the need should ever arise. On our side, I'm second only to you, and you're definitely no slouch. And she just rides roughshod over me and Nicky :S

It just makes me frustrated. And yes, afraid. Afraid that next time she won't stop at threats.

According to another mun who 'knows her Maia', I'm the third most powerful after Eonwe and Ilmare. Thuringwethil is much lower.

This is interesting, when you think about it. She and Daemion must be pretty equal. So the only one on our side that could control her by force is Melkor or Daemion, if it came to that.
