While we're on the subject, the only shows worth memorializing 9/11 are
#1) "9/11" (
IMDB listing for "9/11" lists it as "the 2002 TV Special. this was a documentary done by two french brothers that just happened to be working on a film about NY Firefighters when they just happened to get caught up in the events of that day)
#2)
the post 9/11 Daily Show with Jon Stewart. This was the most honest reaction I saw from any "news" organization.
and
#3)
"On Native Soil" the documentary of the 9/11 commission report. (which may fall into the biased category so I'll accept that it may not count)
All others are grossly politically or emotionally manipulative pieces of propaganda which just piss me off!! Most of them are inelegant enough that even *I* can see how they're pushing me to conform to whatever agenda the creators had in mind. This has become the norm for Sept 11 specials so I've become quite over sensitive to the subject and tend to overreact when it is mentioned... <= case in point.
That being said, I will probably partake in my ritual of watching all 3 shows to remember those who just happened to be in the wrong place at the worst time. 10 years... I can't believe it's been 10 years. My thoughts to those that need it. And to those that are tired of all the hype, I feel your pain too!
