This Crazy Busy Life
Although I swore to myself I would be online more, I have let myself down. Things are crazy busy for me all the time, it seems. My health has not been what I would call wonderful and I need to get it under control.
I didn't travel last week but wasn't feeling up to par yet still had office work to do. I got my new company car which is wonderful! It is a 2008 Taurus X SEL. Midnight Blue with Camel leather seats. It has Microsoft Sync but I haven't figured out quite how to use it yet. Since I am leaving tomorrow for Nebraska, I am going to try to figure it out while on the road.
The kids have spent most of the past two weekends here. Most recently on Saturday night, we all went to eat at Mi Ranchito for Miss Morgan's 24th birthday which is on February 12. (I will not be here that evening so we went on Saturday). Afterwards, everyone came to my house, including Mo's best friend, Athena, and we played a couple board games, cards, watched YouTube videos on the PS 3 and laughed ourselves silly. Since Kelli had fallen to sleep, Scott and his family spent the night on Saturday (same as last week) and when I got up Sunday, Scott was still in bed. I mentioned to Jerri she might want to hop back in bed and there she went. I took care of Kelli Jorje while they slept in to about noon. They had not had the opportunity to sleep in since she was born and they both needed it. Morgan then came over and we all ate blueberry pancakes and eggs. Scott and Jerri headed out to do some errands and to go to the soccer field. Kelli and Morgan stayed. We had a blast with our little Sugarplum. When they returned, we all ate chili and played Guitar Hero. Everyone left about 10:30 last night so I had, yet again, a wonderful family weekend.
I think they should all move back home so I will feel complete again with my little birdies back in the nest! (They aren't too keen on that idea tho...wonder why??? )
Ok,I have to head over to the dentist now and then get back here and prepare for the next couple of weeks of traveling for work and traveling to Virginia for this weekend!
