For some odd reason, the fish has become a recurring thing in my drawing. Whenever I try to think about something to draw or paint and create, the first thing that pops op is something that resembles a fish. Why?
I remember I did an artwork for English class. I'm not sure why now, but I remember that I used newspaper clippings to depict a really bloody war. I used bloody red paint to paint the blood and the brutality of the image. Other than the bloody red, the image wasn't so colorful, more stark than anything. I used what I thought were good news for the human figures that were doing the killing, and bad news for the people being murdered and killed.
The symbol in it is that the human nature is interchangeable. That no one is really good or bad.
It was simple, a little bit cliche, but every time I remember it, I think it's clever and so symbolic.
