My ***, It's Full Of Stars!
Well, there are *some* stars anyway...
After many 30 second exposures with useless focussing, I managed to focus properly ("focus on infinity" sounds more like some New Age instruction than something from a photography manual!)
Sadly the light pollution from the streetlamp is abysmal (or literally, exactly the opposite of "abysmal", still rotten though.)
Also, JPGs are rubbish at rendering skyscapes. I'll try to put the TIFFs somewhere, they look a lot better.

But nevertheless, I managed to get what I was after: The Pleiades or Seven Sisters (Just below the telephone wire):
And neatest of all, the "W" of Cassiopeia: (May look a bit dark in the JPG version)
