For my essay this week, I'm reading Henry V. In one word, inspiring. I want to talk like King Henry. His speeches are detailed, full of imagery, awe-full, and inspiring. He's just so gifted! I could listen to/read his speeches all day long and be completely content. I very much enjoyed reading this play. I'm even more excited that I will get to see it performed on Wednesday when I go to Stratford-upon-Avon and see all the wonderful historical places of Shakespeare. Yup, this trip was worth every penny.
On another note, Lindsay and I have finished watching every single season of "The Office". It only took us a little over a week. The show is ridiculously addicting and I am loving every minute of it. OH! And I found a few more odd things I have in common with Dwight.
5. We both greatly enjoy the TV series "Heroes"
6. One day, Dwight "shuns" Andy. I love to use the word shun.
7. When Dwight gets to take over the Office when Michael thinks he's going to get the job at Corporate, he quotes Bill O'Reilley. "The spin stops here." I watch Bill a lot, especially at home with my family.
8. Has a slight Harry Potter obsession, like me. Although I think that mine might actually be more detrimental than his...which is saying something....
Tonight, I will watch 300 and love every testosterone-filled minute of it. Sometimes, it's amazingly fun and enjoyable to watch men slaughter each other in beautiful CG images. Is that twisted of me? Eh, I'm really not caring at the moment. However, I suppose I should counter-balance that statement. Well here: I really want to buy a teddy bear or something that I can cuddle with, like a big pillow. Both statements are true. I'm just full of contradiction, aren't I? ;-P
I'm trying to introduce Lindsay to the concept of color in her wardrobe. She has....a lot of black and dark colors. :-D Not a whole lot of bright stuff going on. So while we were out studying today, we shopped around afterward. I introduced her to patterns and colors, and hopefully when we're back in the States and can afford to buy clothes, I can take her on a shopping spree in Rochester Hills. Because Rochester has amazing places to shop. I love my hometown.
