TWILIGHT!

Nov 21, 2008 02:42

I just went out with a bunch of friends to see the Twilight movie.

HORRAY FOR THE MIDNIGHT SHOWING!!!

It was cheesy goodness.  I was sitting next to my friends Joel and KRaz and we just giggled and made funny (and probably inappropriately loud) comments.  The whole theatre was filled with students from our college, and most of them were people I knew, so it was all good times.  I know that if I had seen this movie by myself, I would have hated it, but it was a fantastically good time seeing it with all my friends.  We all love the books (I liked them BEFORE they were cool to like - aka 2.5 years ago) so I think most of us went in thinking it was going to be rubbish.  For the most part it was - lots of ridiculously cliched moments, a cheesy script, and only mediocre acting.  I loved it.  :)  It was a decent movie.

*^*^*^*

On a completely different note, our cast opened up Hedda Gabler tonight!  It was extremely well recieved from what I hear and if they are being copletely honest.  I was worried before the show got out how the audience was going to like it.  They laughed at some strange moments, one of which was during my breakdown and cry "like you murdered a child" line.  I was pissed off at that, but I got over it well enough.  When emerging to the waiting crowd after the show, people seemed to really like the show and thought that I did a very good job being realistic.  That's good.  It gives me a lot of confidence.  I'm excited for Saturday's performance!!!

I think I'm going to skip my one class tomorrow and just have the day off.  Then it's the Date Party tomorrow night!!  (Well, actually tonight, but whatever)

It's 3 in the morning and I'm still hyped up on energy from the movie and from the show we performed.  *giggles*
