You know what's awesome about homeschooling?
Walking home from my mom's house:
K: That's a bright star.
Me: I'm pretty sure it's Jupiter.
K: No, it's not a planet, it's a star.
Me: Bet me.
K: Star.
Me: Planet.
K: Star.
It's 10:30 at night on a weeknight. But hey! She doesn't have to get up in the morning. So we can pull out the telescope and get a better look. It was definitely a planet. And what a fun experience.
