A Good Week
Again I failed at the posting. Here it is, already Friday and I'm just now thinking, "hmmm, haven't posted in a while, what have I been up to that I can ramble about." As it turns out, I've actually been quite busy (my dvr is very full).
Jen-nee-fer* has been in town for the last week and so I have been spending as much time as possible (and were she anyone else, more time than would be prudient) with her. Since she's been in Chile for a year and a bit I hadn't seen her since her wedding, so this was good girly catching up time. It seems as if we got together nearly every night she's been here, but it still wasn't enough time. For a recap of our nightly outings and their usual components, **

Saturday ----- Tacos (excellent Guacamole) & cupcakes ----- Margaritas ----- The Cat’s Meow (jazz band)
Monday ----- Village Burger Barn, glorious sweet potato fries ----- Margaritas + (Pama or Chambord) ----- movie - Stardust
Wednesday ----- Papa John’s Pepperoni/Pineapple Pizza ----- Pisco Sours & Over Clovers ----- movie - Waiting & we skipped a planned return to The Rose Room for the nightly Drag Show
Thursday ----- Manny’s Uptown Tex-Mex ----- Sangria, Mojitos, & Margaritas ----- Goodbyes =(
It is freakin' ridiculous how much time I've spent trying to get this damn formatting right.*shakes head*
The second best thing this week is that we finally got the internet fixed. It only took 2 weeks of no service and 3 trips from Time Warner, but we are finally in business which means no more disgruntled roommate. WOOOHOO!
This next week is looking pretty exciting too. Coming up I have: kitty checkups, hair makeover, job interview, Indigo Girls concert and Pride Parade Weekend. I am going to be very enjoyably tired come Monday the 17th.
*Jennifer is very Latin and international now (Chilean Hubbie and all) and sometimes I find myself pronouncing her name with different accents just for fun.
**I tried to insert a table*** here and it just wouldn't work - clearly I'm not as adept with LJ as I am with Microsoft Office
***You know you're spending too much time on office presentations when you want to put a table in your blog.
