I. Am. Exhausted.
Overdid it this year in true fashion. I literally haven't had a day to myself since July.
* Catalog ran from July to September.
September to October was construction, nearly daily.
* October through November was Haunted House operations, with a lovely 1 week break in Florida visiting my family and parents (who were great enough to treat me to a weekend @ Universal Studios.
* Throw in the mix: my paying full-time job, planning and hosting a Halloween Party, getting very sick (borderline pneumonia) for about 3 weeks, daily chores here at the house and the post-season cleanup and volunteer thank-you party, and you get where I'm at just now.
*whew*
But, oh! Light at the end of the tunnel! This weekend marks the last of volunteering for a while, and after proofreading
tracy_d74's first novel, I can take a few weeks off before finishing other commitments and unfinished tasks (like converting all of my CD's and VHS tapes to digital to free up room) and FINALLY setting up the fish tank....
I hope to squeeze in a visit to my grandparent's this Christmas in West TX.

I'm also getting sick of my sometime boy. He is turning out to be more trouble than he's worth.

"Taming of the Shrew" (Taylor/Burton) is on TV right now and is one of my favorite movies, but I'm not much in the mood for watching it. Not up for the sexism; not tonight.
