Auld Lang Syne
New Year's Even was good, spent with friends. And more friends in a sort of sleepover afterparty.
I finally GOT my New Year's Kiss!
Been listening to quite a few versions of Auld Lang Syne, it's such a nostalgic song for me, but no one does it quite like Guy Lombardo:
Listening to it always reminds me of the last scene in "The Shining" when you see Jack at the party in the old photo of 1921:
And of course you can hear the creepy band playing "Midnight, the Stars, and You":
