The girls and I have been going to the local high school basketball games. For the price of admission ($3 for adult and $1 for student) you get to watch a decent game and also have the opportunity of some wonderful people watching. We get to watch the teens in action (some bad-some good) and as for the adults-well some of them act like little children themselves-except with foul mouths-some of the things that these parents and yes grandparents say very loudly to their children who happen to playing the game makes me feel very sorry for their offspring. If they speak like that to them in public-wonder what is said to them at home???????
Now for the sport my oldest daughter engages in-painting-Her first solo art show is opening next Friday at the coffee house/art gallery .Her paintings and her drawings will be hanging there for the next 2 months-my walls are now bare. The owners of the place are having live music and food and also they get 20% of what ever she sells. When we took her work in yesterday and talked to the owner, I had to remind him that she is only 15 and then he directed the details to me-R’s brain is quite full between the 16 year old boy (who is coming to the opening) and being nervous about the opening, R is going to be a mess to live with the next week
