In case you've wondered what I've been upto, I've been channeling simplified sigils for the goetic demons from my Patron, which will be suitable for drawing in the air. Also new mantras you can use if you like, and a chart summarising how their descriptions overlap. Hope to make it available online in some form quite soon. :)

I dunno, that's just how I've been told to do it. You'll either love them or you hate them. There are 72 after all, so you might even like some more than others.:) They'll either attract you or they won't, is how it goes with most magickal ideas/systems.

As to if the existing goetic seals (sorry if I didn't use the right word) are simple enough- no most of them aren't simple enough to easily draw in the air with just a couple of strokes. Which doesn't mean they aren't lovely, just that not all of them are ideal if you like to work in that way (which I know is not traditional for the goetia.)

As to what checks- they're checked against my intuition, and whether each one seems 'right'. And for most of them, the demons themselves and what they say about their own sigil. Of course people will be welcome to alter them if their intuition draws them to do so.

Any further checks- well it is my Patron, his ways are strange but I trust him:)

This is my first real use of this way of working in this amount of depth.

maybe I shouldn't have used the word channeling.:) It's a form of invocation/mediumship in a way.
