Star Wars IV, V and VI
Spoilers if there's anyone out there like me who hadn't seen these films before... It's the first time I see them, yes. There was a marathon in one of the local TV channels and yes, I've spent ALL AFTERNOON watching Star Wars.
Even though I'm not a huge fan of sci-fi and my attention drifted in the battles and that, I must praise this saga. I loved Return of the Jedi in particular, but the whole thing is great. I *heart* Han Solo, R2D2, C3PO and the Ewoks! Ewoks for sale at amazon.com! Recommended age 6-13 MY ASS!
I liked the ending. It was predictable, but hey, Darth Vader saved his son. The one thing that made me laugh my ass off though, was that Leia and Luke were twins. Really, I know that some twins don't look alike at all, but those two were totally different! And they even made out. Incest!!! :o
I must say that by the end of the first film (IV), I was shipping Luke/Han all the way. :D I had a lot of fun watching this and commenting it with dreamtree and and_only every now and then. I was totally unspoiled and had to find out if Obi Wan was really dead (IV) or if C3PO would make it (V).
So now I'm not such a freak and I can no longer tell people I've never watched Star Wars. I have to watch the first two episodes now. There's no more Harrison Ford though. :( And he was damn hot! Oh well, not all hope is lost. There's always Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor.
