Ok,another update. I'm going to Biloxi/Gulfport, MS in a week. So excited. It's part of AmeriCorps H4H.. everyone goes to the Build-a-thon. And that means two Saturdays that we don't have to lead volunteers! Yay! Tonight I had a pretty awful time.. found out the concert I was set to go to tomorrow night (Relient K) is SOLD OUT. I've known about the concert since December, but I hadn't bought tickets because I have no transportation and was seeking it. Well, I found some people to go with, and these people decided it would be best to just buy at the door. So we're all screwed. I think we're still going to Carraba's to eat dinner though, so okay cool. Also tonight I've been working on my resumes. Yeah, more than one. I think I finished my one for adoption agencies, but my entry-level marketing/advertising one still needs work. I can't decided whether or not to include a section of Research Experience. (Since I basically have no experience in the ad industry...) Gah, job search. And I can't even send them out yet since I can't even interview for at least 2 months. (Heck, I've never even been to the city I'm applying for jobs in.)
And all I've eaten tonight are the chocolate chip cookies I made and raw carrots. Oh, and raisins. I'm tired and dizzy and have been all week. I need to call Brian and go to bed. Paint Day 3 tomorrow. oh boy.
Oh.. I'm taking suggestions for cars. That's the other thing I did tonight--research cars I might want to buy. I'm not buying until late August/Sept. I want a 4-door sedan with an automatic transmission that gets good mileage. I wouldn't mind buying used but my mom keeps pushing me to buy new (which is gonna be hard considering I don't know what my income will be at the time I purchase it). I'm thinking in the $13-15K range (or lower) on a new one and if used, I want under 100K miles on it. Some I like so far are Honda Civic, Hyundai Accent, Nissan Sentra, Toyotas, etc. Chevy Cavalier is also an option. If you have any of these cars, give me an opinion. And feel free to suggest others.. or dealerships in ATL you like. Thanks kids!
