So the wedding and Charleston were both great.  I took 240 pictures throughout the week . . . craziness.  On Day One of Charleston, we went to a 1A baseball game and I got a foul ball.  I'd like to say that I caught it, but instead it bounced off the roof and then came down to the seats and I was the only one around.  But I still got it.  The second day I ate at Bubba Gump's and then my mom and I took a ghost tour.  Day Three was Folly Beach, which was gorgeous.  And I hadn't been to the beach when it's actually had warm water in probably four years now, so that was awesome.  On the last day, my mom and I went to Fort Sumter and I got schooled in the history of the Civil War that I never paid attention to in high school.  During the days while my mom was working, I wandered the city.  I did a self-guided walking tour, and then I repeated some of my new knowledge to my mom later but I get historical things mixed up often.  So she got a somewhat fractured history of Charleston (stuff like "that was the church steeple that was painted black.. oh no, maybe it was that one over there, errr....").  But it was a good trip nonetheless.

We came home and immediately went to work, helping my sister with her garage sale.  (I mostly chased little Christopher around to keep him from pulling items off the tables.)  I'm now back in Athens, without any furniture.  My computer is on the floor, and I'm sleeping on the mattress that I'm either giving away or throwing away, depending on people's preferences.  I don't like packing and cleaning and all this stuff, but I am so ready to start something else with my life.  I also have a car for a few days because the rest of my family is leaving for a vacation tomorrow.
