I just like seeing you happy, and I really don't think she can make you happy. She can give you sex. She can give you adventure, the thrill of being stepped on. But she can't make you happy. She can't give you what I know you want out of life.

I'm not saying this to be mean. If she could make you happy, I'd swallow my detestation for the woman and be happy for you. I'm saying this because I know you and I know that you deserve better. And you'd find it if you stopped clinging to her.

I'm saying this because I love you. You're my best friend. And I want you to be as happy as me.

Yeah, well, I'm not. I can't find anyone right for me, and every time I think I might have, everyone I know tells me that they're not right for me at all, like I'm some kind of idiot for not realizing that I am the worst judge of a healthy relationship ever.

I shouldn't care so much. It's just dating.

Want some prospective? Everyone was telling me how my relationships were all wrong. "Oh, you're too clingy". "Oh, you shouldn't be dating again". "Oh, Harrison, you fucking suck". Okay, no one said the last one, but still. You think YOU'VE been getting the piss? Try having people tell you that you're emotionally unstable, needy, immature and stupid. And add the relationship crap to that.

When people give you advice, they're trying to help you. They're not trying to put you down or make things worse. They're trying to help you realize that the situations you're in or the things you do are harmful to you. My advice is that you should take a break from relationships until one hits you smack in the face. There's a great, big, beautiful world of ladies out there. Ones that don't make you suffer so.

I'm only happy now because I listened to everyone. And didn't expect anything.
