So two days ago Aaron and Matt decide that now the barista must mark the cups. It's starbucks standard.
So that night I was having a discusion with Dalyn about how hard it's being, and, due to lack of sharpie, and bad memory, I asked Dalyn(the cashier) to write on cups for me.
We later had a huge but friendly) debate on the cup marking where I mentionned that it's just following rules for the sake of following rules, that it is not an inconvinience for the cashier to write on the cup and that it is a trmendous burden on the barista, having to interupt drink-making to mark on a cup.
especially when you have the old bar which takes all of your attention because if you don't watch the shots and make proper ajustments, then it goes bad. which it does about twice before you can get a good one. Maybe barista cup-marking is easier with a new bar, I don't know, get me the new bar, I will tell you.but for now, it's hella annoying, especially during rushes
so the day after this private conversation between two employees,I thought I was in at 3 but was in a three thirty, they had fine coverage and matt didn't call me, stating he didn't have my number, which both he and dalyn have on their cell phones.
Matt looked at me wierd and said, "I have to talk to Aaron in the office"
then aaron came out and said the ominous"I need to talk to you for a moment" and dragged me, walk of shame style, to the chapters office. Where he decided to repremand me for "Vehemently opposing the new technique"
I explained to him that it was just a friendly debate between friends and that it was nothing, and that I am glad to try it out and never said I wouldn't.
then he continued reprimanding me for simply talking about negative aspects.
I told him it was ridiculous that he brought me there to talk about that.
more repremanding...
"this isn't communism Aaron, I'm allowed to talk about what I want to talk about" (i know...but that's what I said)
"yes but..." more repremanding...
"Alright, I'm going to have to give my two weeks notice, this i ridiculous, I've reached the end with this company."
then I wrote on my reason for leaving "Management. " (yep, pulled a Chantal-which you're famous for by the eway)
and that's that.
