Episode Two: Bitter-Sweet

Oct 25, 2007 12:23

This mischievous little ball of fun is Shiloh. He's a very spunky kitty. Adorable as they all are. He has some attitude and he'll show you if he feels like it. He can be very, very lovable when he wants to, to get the attention he is seeking. He is very cunning. I think I have taken a liking to him because he sort of reminds me of myself. He's sitting on my lap here, he was playing up there, rolling around, and there I was trying to keep my arms around my legs to keep him from falling off of my lap! It was just TOO cute!

This Lovey is Jakey. Bittersweet because him and Pumpkin are adopted and their last day is Saturday. Same owner. Today was the last day I'll see them because I don't work on Saturdays. Look at that face. I'm gonna miss him!

And of course we have Pumpkin. Again, dead to the world. Look at those huge ears... I will really miss him, but I am thankful that I got to meet such a loving cat and got to play with him and cuddle him while I could. He and Jakey are going to wonderful homes and that makes me happy!

Though I did not get a picture of her, We have a new kitten, Zoe who is about 16 weeks old, however one of the workers is adopting her today. She's adorable. She's a little feral but once you have your hands in her cage for a few minutes she starts to warm up to you and she starts to play with you and roll around. She came from a trailer camp. The mother had her along with 3 others and then dropped them down into a deep hole that nobody could reach. All 3 of her other siblings died from fleas and exposure. She survived somehow, and then someone living in the trailer homes was feeding her and they were able to catch her yesterday. She's beautiful. And a fighter.

So all in all, today was great. Got a bit more hands on experience on the cleaning thing.  I so look forward to the days I get to see these faces. If ever there was a pure love, this is it. Love at its best, finest and purest. My Divine Felines.
