Prompt stuff
Prompt was to use three randomly generated words as prompts for art or fic. The word list came from contributions from the comm. I lucked out with mine.
My words are:
Castle, Confetti, Slasher

Castle looked at Beckett, aghast. "I don't remember anything after we wrestled that crazy religious slasher--and why am I covered in confetti?"
Beckett took a deep breath. "Better get ready, Castle, because that was days ago. You got cut by his knife, then we stitched you up, then you went nuts, it must have been some kind of curse, then we consulted the priest of the cult that the slasher belonged to, and she told us that anything sparkly would banish the .. ions, or something like that, so Alexis and your mom had some of those New Year's poppers, and so we popped them all around you, and you seem to be cured." She dropped her face into her hands. "And I cannot believe I just said all that, and believed it.
Castle's look turned from shocked to puzzled to peeved. "Dammit, and I missed all the fun?" He passed his hand over his mouth and paused. "Well what do you know? Maybe I still got some of the old curse left in me." And with a mischievous grin, he bared his teeth.
