I had a horrible work day. Absolutely Abhoric... if I had to describe it in two words. Found out from Disney HR that I'd been cross-referenced somehow as BOTH a CT and a CP. I was accidentally deleted from the system when I left as a CP. OOPS DISNEY- I'M A C-T-. CEE-TEE. SEASONAL. So HR gave me the confidential voicemail of Becky Pommier - my immediate retail guest service manager over area 50 Merchandise. It's up to Becky to re-instate me - which she will-- but as it stands- she and Derrick the Artist just got married on the 15th (all things well, hopefully)- so she's probably on her honeymoon.
Oh well - it takes time.
Then at work it was one thing after another. The whole snowball effect thing- ya know? I almost quit. But that little tiny hint of "BetterJudgement" overruled my conscience. (Damn Better Judgement is a bitch!) If I didn't have some bills to pay I would've been like "see ya later fuckholes!"
Luckily I have AWESOME Assistant Managers.They all know me. They all work well with me. And LUCKILY we have Mike Pitts as the assistant covering my department- and he is strictly by the book,no nonsense, handle your business. So he and Janice calmed me down and Mike's got my back on the situation. Electronics is about to have a rude awakening....
So just as I was recovering I walked my area to zone and "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World came on and totally made me feel better. It was like a good omen or something.
