*Kinda Big Update*

Jan 26, 2006 06:30

It's been quite some time since I've had the opportunity or the time to update. I've worked for what seems like the past two months straight, but it has really only been seven days. I get two days off and then it's back to the same old every day drizzle and drab for another five days. Joy.

A lot has been going on. I've got some very ill family members at the moment. This fact has caused a lot of stress and strain.

I drove Rustbucket for the first time since coming home from Disney again a few days ago. I missed that little piece of shit. My dad's been taking him to work, and as soon as he gets his Mustang, my Rusty's officially mine! :)

We are in the middle of switching nursing agencies... again. I think Lue is going to quit on us. She goes through spells where she works all the time and then quits for a month or so, and then works all the time again. She'll be back, for sure but there is going to be a long windy road ahead for all of us until she returns.

I had a very long day at work today. I had to reset the modular because Nikki thought it best to move everything all around and take items off of it. I didn't notice it until today, and I had to rearrange the entire mod., and build a four-way because the District Manager was stopping by. Re-building the modular was alright, it was just tedious work. The four-way turned into hell. I thought it would be easier because it's less merchandise, but there were a lot of logistics going into it. Mary and I changed the placement of the merchandise four times before we found something that we could use with no air-space visible, that showcased our airtime cards.

I hung out with Veronica after work. She stopped by and we watched "Haggard", (which was HILARIOUS). We have plans to go shopping tomorrow, which is one of my least favorite past-times. I don't know why, but I've always hated shopping. Maybe because I spend too much of my hard-earned cash on useless junk?

Oh, and I highly recommend the movie, "FlightPlan". I didn't think I'd like it at first, but I plugged it in and gave it a go and it was really good.

My long-winded update is now over. I have a lot that still needs to be done around here. I have packages that need to be sent off, bills that need to be paid...etc.
