17. Effortless Wickedness

I'm so tired.  Went to mum's house today to make sure everything was ok and get the mail and what not, since she is staying at my place till she's mobile. And usually it's a two hour train ride, but they were doing track maintenance so it was a bus for half the distance. Got up at 7am and called for a taxi at 7.50.... twenty minutes later, waiting in the freezing morning air and still nothing, so I called back and their like "no the taxi got there and no one was there so they left". I was like *head explodes* "Are you serious? I've been out here for twenty minutes and only two cars have gone past, and unless your taxi is in camoflage, I think I would have noticed a bright yellow car". So I wait another five minutes and they sent one over. Got to the station with literally no time to spare. And then with the transfers and not, didn't get to Morwell until like 11.30am. That's three hours of my life I'm never getting back, although I did get through a large chunk of Pride and Prejudice. Can't wait to finish it, I have three other books (one is the works of George Orwell that I really wanna get started into). Anyway, I done what I needed to over there and I caught the 1.00pm train home, mind you I didn't get back until 3.30pm.

So what is it about travelling that tires one out so much? I mean, unless you're the driver, you just sit there. lol.

Meh, and when I got home, I had to change mum's bandages (the bruising is now all purple-y) and make lunch, clean up. Maybe that's why I'm tired too. Oh I dunno.

My friend Topher (
hristopheros) started a new community, it's called
stanfordism You should all check it out, it's a fan site for Aaron Stanford (most of you would know him as Pyro from the X-Men trilogy). Or if you're not a fan (which you should be) let other's know. It's still in it's baby stages but I'm sure he'll give it a grand opening soon!!

Meanwhile that's it for me. Not much to update with at the moment. I'm too tired, and bordering on cranky. LOL.
