excuse the correct spelling and such. i typed in microsoft word so i wouldn't lose this whole entry.

So where to begin about this weekend.

I guess I’ll do the chronological thing.

Saturday I arrived at my lovely girlfriend's house and we went to this Shakespeare thingy, and yeah. That was ok but we ended up leaving because his comedies simply aren't funny.

Sunday was our first tori show. Ben folds was really adorable and amazing. I used to wanna like, marry him back in the day when he had a band. After they broke up I sorta stopped following his career but I’m so glad I got the chance to see him live. He was really fun.

And tori was incredible. I was so emotional that night and I can't remember if I started crying during ASF or Crucify but I know I was sobbing during Crucify. I don't cry for just anything. It was really just that I was really tired, and the fact that every time I see Tori I find this new appreciation for her and all she's done to shape my life. She’s such an incredible, enduring spirit. I just can't express what exactly she means to me, but she means everything. Period. There’s no way I’d be who I am right now if I wasn't listening to her 6 years ago.

Monday however was definitely a highlight. Went to the show with wildflowerfever (Heather, duh.), riotproofcity and xengirl. We were wandering around navy pier and I saw Neil gaiman. It was the weirdest thing cause I never thought I’d see him again. But there he was. But he was incredibly friendly and signed autographs for heather and I. he signed my decoupaged altoid box I keep my lucky penny in, "Hi Amanda By the way..." so yeah. He was just wandering around all day talking to people; he's such a nice man.

We also stood outside and listened to tori's sound check. And we met the cutest boy...yeah...

I also saw mikewhy and novinha78 standing outside listening to the sound check as well. I’m sorry Amanda I didn’t exactly formally say hello to you, I felt so rude. You are still one of the cutest Tori fans I’ve met though. Anyway, I’m standing there talking to Mike and Neil Gaiman just walks by again and goes “Hey Mike!” or something and pats him on the shoulder. It was cute.

I also got to meet the beautiful cruelsoul. Suze, you are the cutest and I’ve wanted to meet you for some time now. I know you’ll probably just think I’m a dork but meeting you was a highlight of the day as well.

And the show, well. She was electric. I won’t go through the set list cause you can find it yourself, but it was an incredible one. The highlights for me were “Siren” “Caught a Lite Sneeze”, “Strange Little Girl”, “Here. in my Head” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” (OK, so…you know. The entire set list.)

And today I left Heather’s a happy woman. We watched a bit of “Toys” on comedy central which make me happy cause I haven’t seen it in years and there’s a bit of Tori in it so it was a nice way to end the ‘weekend’.

And yes, you can bitch if you want all I ever write about is Heather, but that’s because I’m in love, so get used to it. Heather, I love you, thank you for making this weekend so wonderful. You’re the best companion a person can ask for.
