Wow.. end of 2006...
I haven't written on here in so long. UGH!.. Where to begin...
In all actuality, nothing really has changed with me. Going to work, playing with the buggars, spending time with family. Same things.. different days.
So much has happened over the last year. My good friend at work is now in remission from Lung Cancer. That is so wonderful to type. Last year at this time she had just lost all of her hair due to chemo and radiation treatments, and I took over her early shift for her. This Christmas was a huge celebration for us due to her being here with us.
My buggars are growing like weeds. I am amazed at how much they have matured over this last year. They are learning to speak their mind and not afraid to ask questions, even if they think they are stupid ones. (Which they are, but hey, at least they are asking right?)
My mom is still doing well. Her CLL is under control. She still goes in for therapy treatments, but she seems to be in the best shape she can be. My daddy is still my daddy. He is so wonderful. He makes the holidays so much fun.
My cousin is up here from Cali visiting her parents. She should be dropping by to see me as well. I am so proud of her. Nothing like getting together with the family at the holidays.
All in all, life is good. My SO's son is here visiting, so we have three buggars at the house right now. Talk about a chaotic experience. They are all so damn cute!
Off I go to see what kind of a zoo I am going to visit this evening at home. =)
