Summer..
Nothing new going on here. The buggars are finally done with baseball. They even made it to the semi-finals in their tournament which made the team oh so happy. My buggars ended on a good note as well. Both of them had a huge hit and got onto base the final game. YEA!
Celebrated my dad's 66 birthday and my parent's 40th wedding anniversary this weekend. That was cool. We gave them tickets to go on the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train. We are going to join them for that. Hopefully we will all have a good time.
Trying to figure out if we are going to go anywhere for vacation this year. We are looking at going to California the first week in July to take the kids to Six Flags. Hopefully it won't be too expensive. With gas prices the way they are, it isn't as cheap as it used to be to drive down. Bummer.
I am still on the early shift at work for a while. My partner was supposed to come back to work today from having a portion of her lung removed, but she wound up getting sick after her last chemo treatment. So, for at least another three weeks I will be getting up at O'dark thirty still. The buggars have been really great about the schedule change. I did promise them though that the first day I go back to my normal shift, they get french toast in the morning for breakfast! Woot!
I guess that about does it. Off I go to do some paperwork. Fun!
