I have been meaning to do the paper burning thing forever and never get around to it. I really need to, I have a lot of resentments to clear out of my mind.

It's amazing how it works. Everytime I try to dredge up that anger about what happened, I can't. My brain won't let me... I think that's pretty awesome. Try it.

Did Mike ever "find out"? What is the current status with all of that?

I'm glad to hear that you are being more of your own, strong person. That is good for both you and the relationship!

What's up with work that is making it all super-extra bad? Just getting tired of the "9-5"?

Mike never did find out, although I have thought a few dfferent times that he might have known or heard or something... but that was more my guilty conscience than anything... you know how that goes...

Overall, I haven't talked to Scott since that night and I don't plan on it either.

As for work, it's so stressful. Maybe I'm just not cut out for this whole "career" thing. Maybe I should become a groupie and go on the road with Phish or something. Not that I am a fan of Phish, but you don't have to like shower or shave or comb anything to be cool in that crowd. I think I could get used to the smell of Patchouli...! :o)

I think I need to find my calling, that's all.

Are you pumped for Chicago? That sounds awesome.

I hope your calling comes in and bashes you on the head until you see little swirlies and stars! :) You don't seem like a 9-5ey type of person, you seem like a work at your own pace and make your own schdule type!

And yes, I am PUMPED for Chicago! :)
