Can you believe this???
I haven't posted three times in a row for years! Maybe I should keep the laptop out on the table all the time. :)
We took the girls (and our visiting old friend J) to the White Sox v. Orioles game last night. BT had been to one game before, but it was way back when she was a baby, and BT2 had never been to one. We had a great time! The weather was cool (50's) and cloudy, but no rain. We were in the nosebleed section, but in the lowest part, so we still had a great view! The people sitting around us were all so nice too. A group of 20-somethings that reminded me of "Friends" right behind us and three forty-something guys in front of us who had clearly been coming to White Sox games together since childhood. :)
Hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, soda, foam fingers... the girls even got shown on the fan cam video at one point! It was a great time!
J and Pat drove home in Pat's car and I drove the girls in Babe (our rusty blue minivan, so named because he is the exact same color as Paul Bunyon's giant blue Ox named Babe). They stretched out and fell asleep. I enjoyed the quiet drive, especially since I discovered my new favorite XM radio station - #33 is called 1st Wave and they were playing Psychedelic Furs, New Order (True Faith), The Cure, old Bowie, Church (Under the Milky Way) and so many other great songs. The soundtrack of my high school years. :)
