A Dud
In June I went to see "Batman Begins," in which Christian Bale did the best he could. Several people I respect said this movie was okay, which makes me feel sad and confused. A few things that struck me:
- When Katie Holmes said, "Your father would be ashamed of you," I'm pretty sure I heard my neighbor in the theater say, "Oh snap!"
- He's one with the darkness? That's it?
- Along the same lines, didn't Bruce Wayne think to make any inquiries into the League of Shadows before he climbed that mountain-like, google it or something?
- I never want to see Morgan Freeman in another movie until he's playing someone bad. Please let me know if you have ever seen him play someone bad.
