Wow 4 days off
It has been a very long time since I had 4 days off and stayed home. I am been working around the house. Working in the kitchen, rearranging some things, moving other things, then there is the stuff I have just trashed because, well it should have been done a long time ago.
We moved the piano to make room for the Christmas Tree today. Thursday and Friday GS has put the shelving units up in the family room that he has been working on for AWHILE. The shelves and doors are not completed yet but we can use them as is for now. He said he would work on a batch of shelves at a time and switch them out with the unfinished shelves.
Oh and I still need to put the Christmas lights on the house. Good thing we have those tea cup hooks permanently installed, as it makes for a quick job.
Kid 1 is trying is best at getting out of going with his friend to the friends brother-in-laws place past Sacramento. Kid 2 is going to something that was supposed to start at 2pm but something happened and it has been delayed so she is helping me put the Christmas tree together. True a real tree would be nicer but I have 2 8ft really nice looking fake trees that I should use. I will probably put up on one of them this year as GS has his staining project in the living room (thankfully not in the kitchen this time). I just heard the monster machine going upstairs so GS must be working on a new piece of armor. He is wearing a different rig and this rig requires him to sew things into place.
Oh well, enough of the break time it is time to get back to work.
