Anglican eucharist plus general confession

My first question is probably easier to answer: what is the Church's stance on Communion in the Anglican Church? ie does it involve the Real Presence and is it something that is thus venerable in a way similar to Catholic Communion (maybe I'm using the wrong word...)? I ask because I'm part of an interdenominational campus ministry and tonight an Anglican priest is celebrating Communion with us. Really that's not too important because I've previously been to an Anglican Church for Communion (without receiving, of course), but I was just curious. On that note, I might as well ask what the stance is on Communion in other churches, especially ones that also believe in the Real Presence. I have a friend who definitely believes in it, and that it occurs whenever the bread and wine are consecrated, but I'm highly skeptical, though open to theological correction, so to speak.

More important question(s): I've been talking with my spiritual director about making a General Confession some time in the near future and was hoping someone might have some suggestions on the wording of the confession, what kind of things to include, etc. as well as encouragement and prayers. My biggest concern is that a lot of the stuff I will be confessing borders on mortal sin if not outright crossing the line and frankly just thinking about a lot of it scandalizes me somewhat. I'm not concerned that I will seem too sinful in the eyes of my confessor or anything like that, I'm basically just nervous about voicing these things to someone, and am specifically concerned about how much detail to include, how I should word things, etc. I don't want to get into the nitty gritty so that it's way too much information, but I also want to be as thorough as possible, ya know? Part of this post is to say that I'm basically just nervous about the whole thing and would appreciate any prayers and support anyone has to offer (and other resources about General Confession...)

Thanks in advance =)
