40 hour work week, 40oz malt liquor

Parents came to visit, work a lot, class ends today, I have to write an essay still but it isn't due till next Monday, I have more money from working than i think ever in my life probably, so that means I bought a lot of records and a messenger bag and some books, classes start on the twenty-eigth and I move on campus on the eighteenth, so the summer is pretty much almost over after next week.

-Melies screening at the NGA
-Borf rally and spontaneous street march
-World Inferno @ Black Cat!
-Wyeth exhibit in Philadelphia as made possible by a strange and off-putting Greyhound ride, quality time with Josh and Holly
-World Cup on a big lecture hall screen
-Fourth of July fireworks on the mall
-Fourth of July drunk in the afternoon
-Visits from friends in early July, Andrew's announcement of transferring,
-Eating lots of wings during orientation
-Margarita night at Guapo's due to Mario's sly Spanish
-Coming home, if not only to shoot the Ca$hew music video
-Rooming with the illustrious Drew Rosensweig
-Rooming with the infamous Laura Schuetz
-Growin' up and growin' old.
An incomplete list, but enough to remind me that this summer mattered in some grander grand scheme of things. Hope yours was equally memorable. But I'm ready for bigger, better, and hopefully, less humid things.
