Moving

This feels like the longest move ever- even longer than our move to Selah! We have entirely too much stuff (and to be honest, I still have no idea what exactly we have) and not all of it fits in the U-Haul. For example, my mom bought Alana and easel for Christmas that isn't staying at their place. Had I known it was ours, I would've respectfully told her we don't have room and not to buy it. My mom doesn't want to keep any of Alana's toys at her house, even though Alana will be there every Monday.

Between my mom and packing, my day was exhausting! My mom did help a lot by watching Alana but her "helpful" tips weren't at all helpful. Actually, it was mainly her telling me what to do and reminding me of things like putting a dryer sheet in the dryer. I'm almost done complaining. She'll also ask us something about the house like "what kind of heat do you have?" we'll answer "electric base-board" and she'll say "gas heat is much cheaper. Electric heat can get expensive." Oh really? Do you want to give us the money to switch it then?

On the other hand, she did buy us a stove, a bunch of tp, paper towels, Windex, dishwashing soap, Kleenex and gifted us with her towels. So there.

Allen and Clayton are picking up the stove and unloading the U-Haul at our house in Everett. It's going to be a long night. I don't expect that I'll be able to get everything (or even a good amount of stuff) unpacked tonight and honestly don't know when I will be able to. We're signing the papers for the house tomorrow and will need to work out. I'm on a mission but I need to relax; I tend to burn the candle on both ends. I'm getting my wisdom teeth out on Thursday and will be recovering Friday. I'm exhausted. I should've taken more days off from work for this. Because our stuff was in storage, I had no idea how much we truly had. Oh well, I'll get to sleep after my surgery :)

everett, tired, moving
