Nothing is NBR anymore, deal with it.

Unisom, my new BFF
I know many pregnant women have been given the go ahead to take Unisom, Tylenol PM and Benadryl on a nightly basis to help with insomnia, but I only took them a few times before I asked my doc. He said it was okay, so I'm up just waiting for the Unisom to kick in. Thank GOODNESS!

It doesn't kick in the same way during pregnancy, however. You don't find yourself progressively getting a nice drunk kind of sleepy, it's just that you're able to fall asleep.

Respect the belly, worship the belly
It's strange, but cool, to think about what my body is doing right now. To know that my needs are ALL second to the baby is different. Think about it, the baby takes all the nutrients from the foods I eat and leaves the rest for me. Explanation #23980 why pregnant women feel like crap :o) I totally love my little girl and would gladly give up my nutrients for her.

Her stuff is taking OVER!
Today we purchased an extra carseat base, tub, and pack-n-play, as well as other little miscellaneous things we'll need. We're planning on cloth diapering, but not immediately. We want to get past the meconium and crazy hormonal phase of the days after the delivery first. We have enough newborn and 1 sized sposies so things can calm down while we prepare to wash poop out of cloth for the next few years.

Allen was so patient with me today. He hates running errands, and if we do, they need to be quickly executed. Today, he understood I had lots of goals and no patience, so he was very obliging. Oh how I love him :D

It's not easy being clean
No really, it's physically not easy to clean. In order to help tame this beast of a house (too much stuff, nowhere to put it, inability to bend over/stand/sit anywhere but couch) I'm just taking it in little ten minute spurts, which are honestly exhausting. I started said action plan today and was unable to even do ten minutes. The stairs, oh the stairs!

OMG WAYYY too many baby clothes. Her wardrobe rivals mine (pre-pg). I don't wanna buy a dresser, but may have to. Or I could just stick with those tacky rubbermaid containers that I love so much because 1) we don't have money, 2) I'm cheap, and 3) idon'treallygiveafuck. They're versatile and I'm not a decorator, so not an eyesore to me. Hey, I take off the sticker!

Denise Richards: is not that complicated
Did anyone actually watch that show? How did it get a second episode?
