The definite "con" of having a lap top
Sooo... I came home to check my school email and see if the blackboard is lit or not and... our charger for my laptop is busted. Great.
So I call a computer store here in Yakima and ask if they carry Mac products. They refer me to Yakima's only Mac dealer. I call them and get the answering machine. The message says "we will be closed during the week of March 31st- April 4th for training." Great. Now, I can only do my blackboard stuff from work. Good thing the boss isn't here, but that's going to make for one painfully boring weekend. I can have it shipped from somewhere, which costs extra money, especially for rush delivery. I'll have to look more into it. Not having the internet at home blows for so many reasons.
Other than the boredom standpoint, the school thing sucks as well. I mean seriously, the beginning and end of every quarter brings some type of misfortune. When I finally graduate, I'm going to have CONQUERED this curse. The class I have this quarter has a crazy hard final paper that I wanted to start, um now, but I can't do that. I'm still waiting for some help from an instructor on a paper she's letting me turn in late. I bet she'll respond to me this weekend :o(
Oh, and we still need to file our f*cking taxes, which I prefer to do online, because it costs us $50 online and over $200 in person. Maybe I'll bring them in tomorrow to do >:o) We need this refund to get us through the time when I'm not working. *sigh*
UPDATE: I just ordered one online, expedited shipping, total of about $50. I'll have it in 2-6 days... stupid Yakima and its lack of retail stores.

Alana's massage
Alana is in my tummy, kneading me with her arms or legs or whatever. It's kind of pleasant but really strange at the same time. I keep telling myself she's giving mommy a massage. If should could switch to my lower back, that would be great.

Poor Allen :o(
My poor Allen has the flu, or something like it. He has a sore throat, gets chills and then feels feverish. He doesn't get sick too frequently so he's not too happy when he does. I tried to spoil him and do everything for him. It was kinda funny actually, because with my growing belly I become more useless by the day, but I tried. I "made" him dinner, got him some ice cream, orange juice, yogurt (all cold stuff for the troat) etc and tried to get up and do everything for him. He liked it :o) Picture us, laying on the couch, shifting every 30 seconds to find a comfortable position, groaning. Every few minutes, Allen would either grab the blanket to cover up or rip the blanket off when he felt hot. We were so cute.

He didn't sleep but 30 minutes on Sunday night and I've been sleeping like crap for about 2 months now. We both took some Excedrin PM last night (which is okay for me until week 32, then it's all Tylenol) and SLEPT. I had some CRAZY dreams though, which I always get when I take a sleep aide.

I hope everyone is having a fabulous day! I'm hungry.
