My coworker says to me yesterday morning: "You know how everyone says that gullible isn't in the dictionary?"

Me: *silent* (wondering what to say)

Her: I wonder if it's really not in there.

Me: *still silent* (waiting for her to tell me she's joking)

Her: I'm going to look it up. *goes online at looks at dictionary.com* See! It is in there! (shows me)

Me: *silent* (waiting for her to either tell me she is joking or get the joke)

Her: Why does everyone say that? Liars!

Me: (wondering how long ago someone told her that, in other words, how long she has believed this)
