it's so interesting, working with kids who have such different characters. Entering into another family's life--the way they do things, it's intriguing, and also stressful. It's hard sometimes 'cause some parents have personalities that don't correspond with mine, but that's okay, we get along. It's so interesting to me to have kids who have a mind of their own and kids who are extremely shy and sensitive. There are kids who are very disrespectful and others who have awesome manners. There are some families that I love watching, and others I fear and pray for.
Yeah, there are those days when I wish to be a kid again. Nothing to fear except the spider on the wall. Not much responsibility except to enjoy myself and play. No concept of the world. But there are also cons to being a child. You almost have no control. You need permission from parents about everything. They control--and to some kids, they hate the fact that they are controlled. Would I still pick being a child over where I am right now? Probably not. I like where I am at. and I'm looking forward to tomorrow and the next day and the next..."Life is pure advENtuRe, and the sooner we realize that, the quicker we will be able to treat life as ART."
