It's Done
I had my surgery this morning at nine o'clock. Was given a light sedative and a local. Woke up three or four times during the operation to chat with the student nurse. At eleven the doctor woke me to say everything had gone well, and sent me to recovery. Everyone was so nice to me it was kind of humbling.
An hour later they kicked me out with an instruction sheet and a prescription for Percocet. I'm seriously sore, but it's done, and I have a valid excuse for being lazy for a while.
And one of my neighbours is bringing me a batch of fresh biscuits tomorrow.
Oh yeah, I'm good. 8)
