I've only seen the movie, but have wanted to read the book for some time.

Now I need to go get some Princess Bride icons.

The book is hilarious - he frames it as a story his father read to him when he was a kid, but had skipped over all the boring parts. And there's a scene that the "original" author never included, but you can send away for it and get Goldman's version. You really do get something back, lol.

I read it way back when the movie came out - it was at a school bookfair. Goldman wrote the screenplay for the movie, so the tone is really similar and they complement one another nicely.

BTW - Love your Dorian Gray icon. Can't wait for that movie.
