US vs UK: Graceling and Fire
Because I am in New Zealand and because I buy books online from a UK company (BookDepository - it has free worldwide shipping) a good chunk of my library has the UK covers instead of the US. Good examples would be my collection of The Morganville Vampires (they’re the top row in the picture), and my copies of The Demon’s Lexicon and The Mediator (two in the top left).
This morning my copy of Graceling arrived, and it has the UK cover. And it finally pushed me to start posting US vs UK comparisons (rather than just talk to Robbie about them). I like both sets of the Graceling and Fire, but I think the UK ones just win out ever so slightly. I will be getting the UK version of Fire when it comes out, so I can have a lovely matched set.
What are your thoughts on the covers?
